This is the wood and fabric tip from the right aileron and it measurtes 17-1/2 in. x 10-1/2 in. or 44 cm x 27 cm. For the purposes of this photo, the original wood tip has been slid out of the fabric pocket which is comprised of the upper and lower printed fabric and moved to the right and a wood stiffener has been inserted.  The wood tip curves upwards.  The third photo below shows the complete, original aileron from the LVG C.VI at the Royal Army Museum in Brussels and is courtesy of Bamf.
