This gauge uses a float which measures the volume of fuel in a tank up to 285 liters. The float is attached to a cord which runs out of the bottom of the gauge. It was used on various German aircraft, such as the Albatros scout. Fokker Eindekker, and Fokker Dreidekker or triplane.
