Rumpler C.IV Rigging Plate, 'Verspannungs-Schema. Ru CIV.’
This metal rigging plate was attached to the left side of the fuselage of a Rumpler C.IV, just below the aircraft's data plates. It measures 4 inches by 8 inches or 20.5 cm x 10.5 cm. The corners are broken-off, most likely because the aircraft crashed and this plate was pulled off of it as a souvenir. Scratched into the back of the metal plate appear to be the letters of a location or a name, "DAHUFFaRD" or possibly DPHUFLaRD."
